The Rottweiler Club of Victoria

The Rottweiler Club of Victoria Inc. is the only affiliated Rottweiler Club of Dogs Victoria (formerly Victorian Canine Association Inc). and is located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The Club is dedicated to the Rottweiler breed. We strive to educate and promote responsible ownership of the Rottweiler. Protecting and preserving the breed are our prime objectives.

We hope you find our site to be informative and educational.

With the devastation caused by the bushfires in the state of Victoria, there has been a fund setup called the Rotties Aust Relief Fund to assist Rottweiler owners adversely affected by the fires. Payments will be made to provide shelter, food, vet fees and associated requirements for the welfare of their Rottweilers. Bank account details are as follows:

Message from the President of the IFR:

Dear Friends,

did you know that or realize it??? Yes, in 2009 the IFR will celebrate its 40th anniversary.

This event will take place in Diest, Belgium. Our friends from the Belgian Rottweiler club are going

to host the Congress in connection with the IFR-Worldshow from 21. - 23. May, 2009 and they do all

they can to make it an unforgettable event. My sincere thanks to Dirk Vandecasteele and his entire group.

The congress is forseen May 21 and 22 and on 23 May the Show will take place.

It is my pleasure to invite you already today to the above mentioned events and I will be very happy

to welcome the delegates and Rottweiler friends from all over the world.

Also today I am asking the delegates to send their applications for the meeting in time (at least by the

end of March 2009), so it can be implicated into the agenda.

Further details will be sent out very soon from the Belgian friends by e-mails and/or postal mail.

Please mark your calender and make your reservations as soon as possible - that might enable

you to get relatively cheap travel prices.
